Meet the pastor
My name is Regina Baird Haag, and I am serving in ministry here at West Stockbridge. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio as a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where I worshipped regularly up through college graduation. In 1982, I married my spouse Dennis, who was a Quaker. It was among the Quakers that we worshipped, and from within them that I felt called into ministry. After a time of discernment, education and training, I was recorded as a Minister of the Gospel in 1996 by WIlmington Yearly Meeting of Friends (Quakers). My family and I have journeyed together as I lived into ministry in a number of faith communities. We moved to New York in 2004; I have served as pastoral minister at Adirondack Friends Meeting in South Glens Falls, as well as spending 8 years as Executive Director of Powell House–a Quaker conference center in Old Chatham, New York. Over the last 30 or so years, God has been extremely gracious in supporting and caring for us! It has been a fulfilling, surprising, amazing journey :) We feel so blessed now to find ourselves within this amazing congregation here in West Stockbridge.
